We all know the importance of yoga now-a-days, as yoga is practiced by many people all across the world. Yoga is best known for not only health benefits and fitness, but also for providing mental strength. This is the reason why yoga is practiced by most of the high profile officials. One among those high profile officials is Florida’s Duval County Judge Eleni Derke.
Derke sometimes wears yoga clothes under her black robe.
At noon on the last Friday of every month, Derke strips off the robe and heads to front lawn of the Jacksonville's courthouse where she leads a yoga class that is free to anyone who shows up.

The Florida Times-Union reports that Derke has taught yoga since the year 2014 but said her counterparts in the legal profession are not always the easiest converts.
Courtroom bailiffs sometimes tease Derke, but Derke said that yoga provides a few moments of peace during an otherwise stressful day. Sometimes, she is even been known to urge the jurors to stretch and take deep breaths during lengthy trials.
She will continue the classes this year until the weather gets too hot.
