
After record high temperatures yesterday, Central Florida will get a significant cool down with passing showers, forecasters said.
Rain will pop up this afternoon after a day of mostly cloudy skies and a high of 73, according to meteorologists at the National Weather Service in Melbourne.
The chance of precipitation stands at 60 percent.
Wet weather will continue into tonight as the temperature drops to near 55 with winds of 5 to 15 mph.
More rain is possible on Friday as a cold front settles over the region.
