The Motorola Razr Fold was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 on Wednesday. This new device offers a different design in Lenovo's smartphone lineup, joining the Razr Flip as the second foldable phone. The brand states it is made to adjust to the user's environment with its adaptable formats and interfaces. The Motorola Razr Fold features an 8.1-inch inner display and a 6.6-inch outer screen. It accommodates Moto Pen Ultra stylus input and includes AI features on the device as well. The Motorola Razr Fold will come in two colors: Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White. In terms of its appearance, it has rounded edges, a noticeable hinge, and a back camera setup that looks similar to existing Motorola smartphones. There is a centered hole-punch on the outside screen for the front camera, while the selfie camera is positioned in one corner on the inner screen. According to the company, the Motorola Razr Fold includes an 8.1-inch LTPO inner display with a 2K resolution, plus a 6.6-inch outer screen. For photography, it has three rear cameras, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA main camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
On the cover screen, there is a 32-megapixel camera for selfies, and a 20-megapixel camera on the main display. Motorola claims that this foldable device supports Dolby Vision for video recording. The Razr Fold also has various AI capabilities. One feature, called Catch Me Up, provides summaries of messages and calls so users do not have to check each notification individually. The Next Move feature offers tailored suggestions based on what is displayed on the user's screen. This AI tool aims to propose future actions for users to discover and learn more about the potential of AI, enabling it to adapt to user needs. Motorola indicates that the Razr Fold is compatible with the Moto Pen Ultra for stylus use. However, the company has not yet revealed if the stylus will be included with the device or sold separately as an accessory. Additionally, Motorola has kept other information under wraps regarding the Razr Fold, such as its battery life, processor, and size. Pricing and how soon it will be available are also not disclosed.
